State Databases: GA – Deposit Demographics
Posted by Daniel Cornwall in SLDTF on May 12, 2009
As financial institutions are never far from the news, today’s State Agency Database Highlight concerns banks in Georgia:
Deposit Demographics – searchable by city or county. “The FDIC requires each federally insured deposit institution to submit a report detailing the deposit volume at each of its banking offices. These reports are required once a year as of June 30th. The information is usually released near the end of the following October. Therefore, all the deposits shown in the subsequent report are as of June 30th of the indicated years. Also, all deposits are displayed in thousands (000’s omitted).”
The Georgia page of State Agency Databases Across the Fifty States is maintained by Rich Gause.
Georgia is far from alone in having databases on financial institutions. Search our project wiki for banks, banking or financial institutions and you’ll find a number of searchable databases from banking regulatory agencies of a number of states.
